Today's website of the day is pandora.com a website that creates bespoke playlists based on your musical tastes.
The site uses an extensive database of music to create an internet radio station, or playlist of artists and songs that might appeal to you based on artist information you provide.
You've just finished listening to our favourite new album and you think to yourself: “that's my cup of tea, that is”. What pandora.com can now do for you is to pour another cup, and another cup. It's based on the Music Genome Project which in 2000 set about to become the “most comprehensive analysis of music ever”. It's an impressive achievement and best of all it can be accessed free of charge.
