Linksys, a Division of Cisco, has unveiled three new products at CeBIT in Germany.

The company announced a Wireless-G USB Network Adapter with Wi-Fi Finder (WUSBF54G), a Wireless-G Compact Internet Video Camera (WVC54GC) and a Wireless-G Media Storage Link Router with SpeedBooster (WRTSL54GS).

The new Wireless-G USB Network Adapter with Wi-Fi Finder (WUSBF54G) is a pocket-sized device that combines an easy-to-use wireless network scanner with a USB-connected Wireless-G network adapter similar to one offered by ZeXEL.

It has been designed for mobile workers who wish to locate potential hotspots and Wi-Fi connections before beginning the time-consuming tasks of unpacking and powering up a notebook computer.

The Linksys Compact Wireless-G Internet Video Camera (WVC54GC) wirelessly connects to a home or small office network and distributes a live video stream through the internet to a web browser accessible on virtually any Windows-based PC.

To address the growing desire for networked storage capabilities, Linksys is introducing the Wireless-G Media Storage Link Router with SpeedBooster (WRTSL54GS). An all-in-one Internet-sharing router, Wireless-G access point, and Network Storage Link, the WRTSL54GS enables users to connect USB disk drives directly to their network.

The company's SecureEasySetup functionality on the Wireless-G Media Storage Link Router promises creating a secure home network with networked attached storage push-button simple, and a built-in media server streams music, video, and photos located on a USB-attached storage device to any Universal UPnP (Plug and Play) compatible media adapter.

Storage devices attached to the WRTSL54GS can also be set up to be available publicly for download via a web browser or via password-protected accounts for authorised users.

Both the Wireless-G USB Network Adapter with Wi-Fi Finder and the Compact Wireless-G Internet Video Camera are immediately available and cost £69.99 and £99.99 respectively.

The Wireless-G Media Storage Link Router with SpeedBooster (WRTSL54GS) will be available later this year.
