Creative has announced a new edition to its Muvo range - the Muvo Slim 256Mb. The player which builds on previous models in the series is only .2-inches thick but still manages to combine an FM radio, line voice recording and digital audio quality all in the design no bigger than a credit card.
Supporting WMA and MP3 formats the player can hold up to eight hours (120 tracks) of WMA files or up to four hours (60 tracks) of MP3 music on the solid state memory. Additionally users can store upto 16 hours of dicatition recorded via the built-in microphone.
Connection to a computer is provided by USB2.0 connectivity and a simple drag and drop transfer without software has been adopted like previous models.
The removable battery is rechargeable via the player's USB connection, providing up to an incredible 17 hours of continuous playtime and the flexibility to carry additional batteries for extended use.
The MuVo Slim 256MB will be available in May at an SRP of £149.99inc VAT.
