BBC comedy and South Park gets mobile memory card release

12 April 2006 11:39 GMT / By Stuart Miles

Mobile phone users will soon be available to get Little Britain, The Office, League of Gentlemen, South Park, Premier League Greatest Moments and Music Video Anthems on their mobile via a memory card.

ROK, the company that also offers mobile TV over a GSM network in the UK, announced today the release of six new titles to it's full-length content roster of mobile entertainment. The new titles, which will be available exclusively via its website for the next 6 weeks include BBC comedies Little Britain, The Office and League of Gentlemen through to MTV's South Park and V2's Best Indie Anthems.

However those expecting to get the whole series are likely to be disappointed. The BBC offerings will contain three episodes each randomly selected from the first series of each program and the South Park memory card will contain four episodes yet seen in the UK. V2 Greatest Indie Anthems Volume 2 contains 12 music videos. The best deal seems to be the Footie with almost 2 hours of classic moments like Beckham's half way line goal.

Priced at £16.99 each the content-loaded memory cards are compatible with 18 handsets to include the Nokia 6630, 6680, N70 and N90 and play full-screen at 24 frames per second with a forward, reverse and auto-pause function.
