LucasArts the games publishing arm of George Lucas' gaming empire is said to be developing a game dedicated to Darth Vader from the Star Wars.
In an interview with the head of LucasArts, Jim Ward, the New York Times hints that the company, although keen not to be labeled the "Star Wars Game Company" may have one more Star Wars title up their sleeve.
According to the newspaper, the "Their [LucasArts president Jim Ward and VP of product development Jim Hirschmann] excitement was palpable on a recent afternoon", the article states, "when Mr. Ward, Mr. Hirschmann, and Haden Blackman, the project leader of a forthcoming Star Wars game, reviewed all of the company's recent projects. Mr. Blackman outlined a new storyline that delved deeper into Darth Vader's history".
It seems that the company could be able to make a game that centres on Lord Vader's character between the end of the Episode III and the beginning on Episode IV in the six films.
Nothing is yet officially confirmed. The only Star Wars game with that classification at the moment at LucasArts is Lego Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy.
We will keep you posted.
