Sony Vaio goes Spanish in US with FJ en Espanol notebook US Hispanic population get own range of laptops

As a prelude to a broader marketing initiative to the growing US Hispanic population, Sony has introduced one its VAIO notebook computers that includes a Spanish language operating system and keyboard.
The new Spanish-version FJ en Espanol notebook - based on Sony's popular VAIO FJ Series - marks Sony's first Spanish language PC in the United States.
The laptop will be available in five colours including Onyx Black, Pearl White, Sky Blue, Jade Green and Raspberry Red
According to the US Census bureau, 31 million US citizens over the age of five speak Spanish at home.
Sony's VAIO FJ Series notebooks are slim, 14.1-inch widescreen PCs that come with a built-in camera and microphone. Additional features include onboard DVD+R double layer/DVD+/-RW drive and XBRITE-ECO LCD technology.
VAIO FJ en Espanol notebooks will be available this month at select Sony Style Stores around the country and at starting at about $1,400.
The company has yet to confirm whether or not the Spanish Vaio will be launching in the UK.
