Although Coca Cola's attempt at selling music online closed its doors last week, it hasn't given up marketing online music.

Apple and Coca Cola have struck a deal to promote iTunes on Coca Cola products, BrandRepublic.com reports.

In a statement issued about the closure of MyCokeMusic, Coca Cola said, "In 2004 the digital music scene was just developing and the only way for Coke to offer access to music downloads was to open our own store".

"That's not true today and there is no need for Coke to continue to run a store."

Coca Cola sponsored content may also appear on the iTunes site.
