Logitech beefs up its webcam range with the QuickCam Ultra Vision
New camera provides enhanced images

Logitech's newest webcam, the QuickCam Ultra Vision webcam, promises relief from grainy, hard to see video images.
The company says that the camera offers a "true-to-life video calling experience" because the camera can achieve a f-stop of 1.6, letting in extra light and enhancing the clarity of the picture.
Logitech's RightLight 2 Technology, which is an upgrade to their previous technology, adapts the video settings on the camera depending on the environment and lighting conditions.
With 1.3 megapixels, the webcam also supports the HD video format, so that users can create video clips and watch them in wide-screen.
Five extra-large lenses, several of which are glass, also serve to produce extra-sharp video images.
Logitech has also modernised the design on this webcam, incorporating chrome detailing, buttons on each edge, one of which launches a mirror video window so users can check their reflection, and a ring of blue light that illuminates when the camera is in use.
Bundled with the webcam is Logitech Video Effects software that lets users create avatars of themselves, complete with glasses and beard, that mimics their movement.
The QuickCam Ultra Vision is on sale for £99.99.
