New Polartec micro fleece shirt from Montane

Montane has been converted – it has decided to introduce fleece garments to its range and is using Polartec, internationally recognised for producing leading technical fabrics in Montane’s first foray into the fleece market.

The brand’s unisex Pulse Shirt uses lightweight Polartec Classic 100 fabric which acts as a highly breathable, machine washable and durable light insulation layer. The garment can be used with any Montane eVENT layering system, or as a comfortable, technical, outdoor sport pullover in its own right.

Polartec Classic 100 fleece provides warmth to the torso area whilst Polartec Classic Micro has been used in the sleeves and underarms to minimise bulk and maximise comfort. The Pulse Shirt is an innovative garment which is highly packable and great for taking everywhere.

Ben Whalley, UK sales and marketing manager for Polartec says: “There is an increase in the demand for micro fleece because people now have a better understanding of the concept of layering systems and micro fleece is a good all-rounder: great for layering in cold weather and good for a lightweight layer in warm but fluctuating weather. We are glad to have Montane on board at last”.

Montane produce a range of outdoor garments, which you can find on their website at www.montane.co.uk.
