Canon launches the CanoScan LiDE 35

Canon has announced a new entry level scanner to its CanoScan LiDE range - the CanoScan LiDE 35. The key features of the new scanner are a 38mm thick body that offers 1200 x 2400 dpi at 48-bit colour depth. The scanner also features QARE Level 2 dust and scratch removal, promises fast scan speeds and a software package. Addiitonally the new scanner is powered via its USB2.0 cable forgoing the need of a separate power supply.
