Warner Bros announce 10 Blu-ray and HD-DVD titles Six Blu-ray and four HD-DVD titles coming in September

While Fox has gone all out with eight Blu-ray title announcements, Warner Bros has opted to six Blu-ray and four HD DVD titles.

The company has said it will launch the 10 high definition titles on the 26 September 2 months before Fox releases its titles in November.

The Time Warner unit will release Tim Burton's Corpse Bride, Swordfish, Space Cowboys, Lethal Weapon 2, The Fugitive and House of Wax staring Paris Hilton.

Making their HD-DVD debuts are The Dirty Dozen, Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines, Grand Prix, and The Adventures of Robin Hood with Kevin Costner.

The company has said that it will also launch Training day staring Denzel Washington and Full Metal Jacket. New films include Syriana and Firewall.

All titles will be available for $28.99 in the US. Bonus materials on the standard DVD will be included on both the HD-DVD and Blu-ray discs.

Warner Bros has also promised at least 10 UK films in the UK before Christmas for the Blu-ray format.

In related news Paramount has confirmed that it will be launching MI:3 on the Blu-ray format in November.
