T-Mobile’s BlackBerry customers can now load TrafficTV on their devices in order to get realtime information on road and traffic conditions when they’re on the move.

RIM and mxData have teamed up to offer the TrafficTV mobile application on the latest devices, and have given T-Mobile the exclusive launch deal.

TrafficTV gives users access to a full interactive map of the UK, live 24/7 access to Trafficmaster information, and over 500 live CCTV pictures.

The service isn’t free, and will cost somewhere around 10 pence a day with a subscription. However, it could prove invaluable in planning journeys to avoid traffic delays and congestion.
