It seems designers have been racing each other to design the world's smallest ... LED wristwatch, and the competition has been won by Tokyoflash Japan.

The Restu has a futuristic design, with a line of lights corresponding to digits. The lights race up the watch and stop at the number to be read. This is repeated for each number to tell the time. Not quite as simple as glancing at a traditional clockface, then.

As for statistics, we've got them. The Retsu measures 8mm and weighs 40. It comes with a chic black suede strap, and costs 14,900yen, or £67 – Toykoflash delivers worldwide.
