Raichle (say Rye-kley), the top-end Swiss outdoor footwear manufacturer, has developed the All Degree Lite GTX for men and women at the introductory end of its mountaineering range. So confident are they that this boot cuts it, that they have introduced it into their try before you buy scheme which runs at selected outdoor stores nationwide.
Crampon compatible, these boots also have Raichle’s Motion Control concept which uses a plastic device built into the heel area of the boot. The plastic insert is raised on the inside of the boot and works together with a reinforced sole to help keep feet stable and so reduce the risk of injury.
Other features include memo foam in the tongue and ankle area and Vibram sole with poro-wedge and rubber rand.
