Ego laptop wins world's most expensive crown at $350,000 You won't be buying it for its power and speed

Will the candidate for the world’s most expensive laptop please step forward: the Ego.
The laptop comes in three models of varying prices, and maxes out at $350,000 for the diamond and platinum version. Designed in part by a Dutch jeweller, the most expensive version features a diamond tulip on the front, and a diamond accent on the hand rest.
The cheapest version, the Tulip Ego, is making it to the US for $5000, but the other versions aren’t destined for US shores, presumably being reserved for Russian oligarchs and oil barons.
Shaped a bit like the original Apple iBook, the notebook has a helpful handle for carrying purposes, and can be customised with tiger and zebra print skins.
The specifications are well hidden by the glitz of the design, but your money buys you a 12.1-inch screen, an AMD Turion processor, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, as well as a DVD/CD burner.
The top-of-the-range edition was designed by Rodrigo Otazu and boasts 470 diamonds – that would be the $350,000 model.
