Olympus has taken a different design ethos with its latest digital camera - the AZ-2 Zoom. The cameras main selling point is its 2.5in rear display and 2cm width.
The four megapixel camera also features a 2.8x optical and 5.5x digital zoom which remains within the camera's body.
Olympus is also hoping newcomers to digital cameras will benefit from 13 scene programmes (e.g. Landscape with Portrait, Indoor, Fireworks, Sunset, Portrait, Sports, Sleeping Face) and PictBridge support
The Olympus AZ-2 ZOOM is planned for release in November 2004 in the UK priced at £299.99.
