BenQ, not content with launching LCD Monitors that look like handbags, digital cameras and laptops have now moved into the mobile phone market. It latest model is called the S700. Not to be confused with the Sony Ericsson model with the same name, the phone will feature smooth cinema-like video display quality at 30 frames per second and a 1.3 mega pixel camera.

The tri-band clam shell phone will also come with a 32MB mini SD card and mini SD card adaptor and will let you listen to MP3s or watch video. The catch - the transfer speed is USB1.1 rather than USB2.0 however BenQ has stated that you'll be able to charge the phone via the USB connection.

The phone will be available at the end of the month and price will depend on contact.
