Griffin releases ExpressCard 5-in-1 Card Reader image

Griffin has released a useful little device in the form of its ExpressCard/34 5-in-1 card reader.

Compatible with Mac and PC, the reader fits into the ExpressCard slot found on Macs and many Windows PCs to make transferring files from cameras, mobiles, and other devices faster and easier.

It reads Memory Stick and Memory stick Pro cards, SDTM Memory Cards, MMC, and xD Pictures cards, as well as others with compatible card adapters.

Unfortunately for photographers, it does not support CompactFlash cards.

Griffin promises that the 5-in-1 acheives the same or faster speeds than USB2.0, which is generally considered around 480Mbps.

Available now for £20.
