The Queen has announced that this year she is embracing the Podcast.

Keen listeners unable to get to a television or radio set on Christmas day will be able to download Her Majesty's speech to save to their MP3 player.

Available from 3pm on Christmas Day the royal website is asking people to sign up for the Royal podcast by either clicking on an icon to store the URL in iTunes or copy and paste a link in their Podcast software.

Once you have subscribed, the latest podcast will automatically be made available to you from your podcast software, and can be downloaded onto your MP3 player if you wish.
