Not sure where to place those surround sound speakers? Then you'll need to get the Baby Elephant Sofa, by designer Terence Conran. It is a £1250 couch designed with a subwoofer in the base and two slim speakers in the "ears" at the side.

Of course you could just opt for the new all in one AmbiSound speaker system from Philips or Yamaha's Sound Projector system.

Both speaker systems trick you in to believing you have a 5.1 home cinema system in your lounge.
