Apple has announced a U2 Special Edition iPod. The black version of its 20Gb music player will coincide with the launch of the latest U2 album.

The black player, which sports a bright red click wheel on the front and autographs of all four U2 band members on the back will also come with an exclusive U2 poster and cost £249.

The player however, will not as expected come with preloaded U2 tracks, but instead include a money off coupon for the greatest hits compilation “The Complete U2” a 400 hundred track U2 fest due to be available for download from the iTunes store at the end of November.
