iTunes goes Europe wide

In a day of Apple announcements, Apple has launched a European Union version of its iTunes Music Store.

The new service means that the wait for Austria, Belgium, Finland, Greece, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Portugal and Spain is over.

Pricing will be the same as the French and German iTunes stores - ie €0.99 per song - and feature the same offers as the other country specific stores.

UK, France and Germany launched country launched iTunes stores eariler in the year.
