Palm issues software update for Treo 680 Fixes a problem with the camera and battery

Palm has posted a software update for the Treo 680 smartphone that fixes a problem with its camera.
At the moment, the camera on the device draws power from the battery, even when it's in standby, resulting in a shorter battery life.
The software update will fix the problem for all the devices manufactured before 19 December 2006.
