There are plenty of robots available on the market ranging from £70 for the Robosapien to priceless for Honda's Asimo. However for those on a tighter budget, there is the Soda Can Robug from Great Gizmos.

For those environmental friendly youngsters out there the new Green Science range is, the company promises, perfect fro experimenting with everyday household items, turning them into something useful.

The kit allows you to turn, transformers style, a regular drinks can and turn it into a cool robotic bug.

The company has yet to set a price or release date for the vibrating, sliding and buzzing bug
