This time you'll be able to get out of the car! Terrific. As David Soul has been publicly critical of the remake of the film, hopefully Empire will sieze the opportunity and allow his and Paul Michael Glaser's voices to be added for the full central cast to be represented- not just Antonio Fargas.
Like a lot of low budget films moving on to more successful sequels though, it may improve upon the original with the profits funding a larger vision for the game, so we'll reserve judgement until the new game appears.
