Nokia may be about to revive its retired N-Gage mobile gaming device, according to some reports.

Pocket Gamer learned that a range of companies, including Disney and EA Mobile, were recently show new features for application distribution that will track how games are played and allow for the sharing of games to friends.

Apparently European companies will be briefed about the new N-Gage next week.

N-Gage devices, when they were being sold, used the Symbia OS with other APIs added on. The next-generation of N-Gage was announced in 2005 to appear within Nokia's smartphone devices, although this has not really materialised.
