The British Library claims to have built the largest indoor wireless network in the London.
The network, which will cover 11 reading room, the Library auditorium, its café and restaurant as well as the famous indoor Piazza will be available to 3,000 visitors a day.
Since May when the Library started trialing the scheme users of the Library looking for internet access had to nip over the road to the internet café.
Powered by wi-fi company The Cloud, the service will cost £4.50 per hour.
The Library situated opposite Kings Cross station in London is hoping that commuters waiting for trains will pop over the road to use the service alongside users of the Library.
A spokesman for the Library has said the charge for the access is because: "It won't just be readers that use this network. There will also be people visiting to use the network as well”
