Apple's Flagship store in Regent Street London is finally open, but while the crowd was massive and the staff emotional, some of the early customers who had queued for hours were disappointed with their goodie bags.

The bags, which were selling for £250, but worth over £700 had a random selection of goods including web cams, Airport Express devices, Bluetooth adaptors and wireless keyboards. Each bag was randomly packed and the rumour that everyone would contain an iPod was unfortunately unfounded.

However it seems the hype of getting to the store for its opening day had worked. Police estimated that by 11am, one hour after the store's opening, it had already seen 500 people through the door.
