Digital photo frames are growing in popularity, and Mustek is the latest company to jump on the bandwagon.

The company has launched two new frames, the slightly-cheaper PF-D800 and PF-A700A.

The first measures 8-inch across the diagonal and offers various picture playback modes, including a slideshow option to let you view photos one by one at different speeks.

It's equipped with a built-in multi-format card reader, but offers no storage memory for images.

The 800 x 480 display can be mounted to the wall or stood on a table with a bundled stand. Two speakers let you play music to accompany the slideshow, or can be used as a standalone MP3 player complete with earphone jack.

In addition, the display can handle video playback in JPEG format, and features TV connectivity so you can hook it up to watch the images on a large screen.

The PF-A700A measures 7-inches on the diagonal in a 16:9 widescreen format. It adds video playback in MPEG1, 2, and 4 to the list of features, as well five slide transitions speeds, which are easy to control with the on-board menu.

Both are supplied witha remote control and power adapter for the mains. The PF-D800 retails for around £80 while the PF-A700A costs around £140.
