O2 gets BlackBerry 8800 Available for free

O2 has announced that it will be offering its customers the new BlackBerry 8800 complete with GPS and QWERTY keyboard.

The BlackBerry 8800, which looks like a bigger version of the company’s Pearl model offers comprehensive BlackBerry functionality including a large high definition screen that adjusts according to the brightness of the environment. In addition to the expandable MicroSD slot, the BlackBerry 8800 comes with built in 64MB flash memory.

For international users, the BlackBerry 8800 offers quad-band functionality, supported by a battery life of up to 22 days standby and 5 hours talk time, for making all those important calls.

Available 5th March for business customers, the BlackBerry 8800 will be on sale at various prices starting from free, depending on the tariffs.
