Orange is expected to announce the launch of its 3G services in the UK on Monday and follow the announcement up with handsets in stores before Christmas is upon us.

According to reports in the FT today, the announcement will “allay concerns that Orange is still suffering teething problems with 3G technology.”

We reported last month here that Orange is planning six handsets that will be supplied by LG, SonyEricsson, Samsung, Nokia and Motorola, and Sanyo, which will be a European exclusive.

Orange deployed its 3G datacard for PCs earlier this year
