TerraTec Cinergy HT USB XE TV tuner announced

Analogue and digital plug and watch tuner for PC

NEWS: 14 March 2007 15:08 GMT by Stuart Miles

TerraTec Electronic has announced the launch of the Cinergy HT USB XE, what is it calling an inexpensive way to enter the world of watching television on your laptop or computer.

Priced at £64.99, the TV Tuner connects to a USB2 port and instantly brings you all of the programmes available within your broadcasting area both analogue and digital.

The TerraTec Home Cinema offers some new functions along
side standard PVR options including the ability to scan through current television listings via remote programming over the Internet, and programme the system to record with just a click of the mouse.

Your Cinergy HT USB XE has even more capabilities when used in conjunction with TerraTec Home Cinema software: Automatic optimisation of aspect ratio, Dolby digital (AC3) recording, teletext and subtitles, DVB radio support (where broadcasted) and user-defined favourites lists (genre, location), multi-tuner support, readily available help functions, and the commercial editor Cut!, which now makes it even easier to remove blocks of commercials.
