Griffin Shark 2 AM/FM radio announced

Can record, and access internet stations as well

NEWS: 15 March 2007 1:59 GMT by Stuart Miles

Griffin has launched a new version of its Shark AM/FM radio called strangely enough the Shark 2.

The new radio can record AM and FM radio broadcasts in real time, as well as allow you to set up recordings to occur later, or according to a repeating schedule.

Recordings are saved to your hard disk, and can be added (automatically!) to your iTunes library for listening on your iPod.

Like Pure Digital's Evoke III DAB radio, Griffin's radio SHARK allows you to live pause, and the radio comes with software for both PC and Mac that allows you to control everything from your computer including access to internet radio stations.

No word on UK pricing, however the radio will cost $49.99 in the US.
