Sony launched a new addition to its range of colourful USB storage media – the 4GB MICRO VAULT Tiny.

Available this time in purple, the 4GB MICRO VAULT Tiny will come pre-loaded with Virtual Expander data compression software for the PC that allows users to store, it says, up to 3 times more data than the native capacity.

The MICRO VAULT Tiny products are compatible with Mac and Windows operating systems, including, Sony is keen to stress the new Windows Vista.

The 4GB MICRO VAULT Tiny is available now, however Sony hasn't yet listed a price on its website.
