PS3 game rental service launches

£9.99 for all you can play

NEWS: 21 March 2007 11:08 GMT by Stuart Miles

PS3 owners feeling the pinch after laying out £425 for the console have been offered a lifeline to try games before you buy from game rental company SwapGame.com.

The UK based website is offering a monthly rental service similar to that run by Blockbuster and ScreenSelect.

For £9.99 per month gamers can play and try all the games they want for as long as they want.

The SwapGame service also provides gamers with an ideal try before you buy opportunity, enabling its subscribers to keep any currently rented game at up to 50% off retail prices.

“From day one we will provide our subscribers with the option to keep any currently rented PS3 game for a great pre-played price. We truly believe that our subscription service is the best way to play and it will be a godsend for all PS3 owners”, said the company.

The company also offers a range of other console title games and you'll get free postage as well to boot.
