Apple is reportedly courting Vodafone for its iPhone in the UK.
Apple wants to secure a deal with a single pan-European network for the launch of its iPhone by the end of the year so it can offer features like selective voicemail recall and browsing on the web.
Industry insiders are suggesting Vodafone has emerged as an early front runner, The Guardian says although some believe its connection with Verizon in the US will scupper a deal.
The iPhone which is due to be launched in the US in June will be exclusive on the AT&T network.
The company said at a recent press conference that it has had over 1 million enquires for the phone.
