Nokia announce 5700, 5070 and 7088 mobile phones More music, fashion and entry-level handsets coming soon

Nokia has announced three new phones today the Nokia 5700 XpressMusic, the Nokia 5070 and the 7088.

The Nokia 5700 XpressMusic will offer 3G connectivity, come with a 2 megapixel camera and have a music player that supports album art, playlists, as well as a 5-band equalizer and audio visualisations.

Available in the next couple of months, users will be able to store up to 1500 tracks that via an optional 2GB MicroSD card, and the phone supports Bluetooth stereo headphones as well as coming with a 3.5mm plug for your own headphones.

"The Nokia 5700 XpressMusic adds a new twist to the mobile music experience with compatibility for tracks purchased from many Internet music stores", says Heikki Norta, Senior Vice President, Mobile Phones, Nokia.

Supported formats include WMA, MP3, AAC, as well as eAAC+ and MP4.

Nokia has also announced the Nokia 5070, an entry-level handset with 3.5 hours of talk time and 12 days of standby on a single charge available in either red or blue.

Finally Nokia announced a new phone within its fashion L'Amour Collection; the Nokia 7088.

The new phone sports a jewel-like select key and carefully d-pad set into a metallic frame. According to Nokia "Bold leather-inspired textures are found on front and back surfaces of the Nokia 7088, enhancing the tactile experience, and further accentuating the artful balance between technology and nature that is the hallmark of the L'Amour Collection's design ethos".

Nokia has said the new phone however won't be making it to the UK.
