CAVE bookshelf lets you sit among your library

5 April 2007 14:18 GMT / By Stuart Miles

Finding it difficult to find that special place to read? What about in the bookcase itself.

That's what Sakura Adachi has done with what it calls the CAVE, a bookcase that comes complete with its very own seat built into the shelving system.

According to its makers, "CAVE gives a feeling of hiding from others standing around it".

Books can be stored on both sides. And as Sakura Adachi can also function as a partition of a room.

There is even a kids version for your little bookworms.
