New remote concept to tidy up your coffee table

27 April 2007 11:31 GMT / By Ryan Haynes

A new concept design for the humble remote, has been shown off by Philips and designer Chen Hung Ming.

Rather than an something with more buttons that a military parade, Chen Hung Ming’s design opts for a book style offering with different pages for your different remotes.

Currently the concept only offers three pages, labelled for each product, but the hope would be that you could add more (we know we’ve got more than three remotes sitting on our coffee table).

No word on whether this will become a reality, however we will keep you posted.
