MySpaceIM goes BlackBerry

27 April 2007 12:32 GMT / By Ryan Haynes

Furthering the capabilities of BlackBerry's Shape Services has introduced the seventh heaven for communications enthusiasts.

MySpaceIM, the instant messaging system part of the social network phenomenon, is now available on RIM BlackBerry smartphones. This is part of IM+ designed to keep users in contact with all online networks, colleagues and acquaintances.

This is ideal for bands getting big to stay in contact with their fans, alternatively avid MySpace fans don’t need to sit in front of a PC monitor to keep up-to-date.

IM+ now works with MSN/Live Messenger, AIM/iChat, Yahoo!, Jabber, ICQ, Google Talk and MySpaceIM systems on a broad range of mobile devices. The service provides desktop-like instant messaging systems allowing the users to chat with buddies of different IM networks simultaneously and in real time.

If you're looking at getting this on your PDA smartphone first check you have one of the following RIM BlackBerry handhelds, Windows Mobile Pocket PC and Smartphone, Symbian
(S60, Series 80, Series 90 and UIQ), J2ME, i-mode, Palm OS and Brew.
