Creative launch TravelSound Notebook 500 speaker system

Creative has announced the TravelSound Notebook 500 speaker which attaches directly to a notebook PC screen.

Designed to match notebook screens and to eliminate desktop clutter the TravelSound Notebook 500 weighs at 243 grams and is 8in long.

The TravelSound Notebook 500 features titanium microdrivers for superior audio quality and clarity, when compared to integrated notebook PC audio or speakers with aluminum or paper drivers.

The TravelSound Notebook 500 can be powered through any of three sources: USB cable, universal power adapter, or triple-A batteries. A battery-powered TravelSound Notebook 500 offers a playback time of more than 30 hours.

The TravelSound Notebook 500 is available in America for US$99.99 however isn't as yet being listed on Creative's UK site.
