Flash drives have become ready for any extreme support with Corsair's Flash survivor range.

The devices designed and engineered to be the toughest USB drive is not only water resistant for up to 200 metres (I guess they're appealing to MI6 on this one), it is shock-proof and is encased in CNC-milled aluminium.

Available in either a 8GB or 4GB format these flash drives come pre-loaded with a security application with 256bit AES encryption. The devices claim to be 5x faster than other drives (GT version), therefore will make file access much quicker – especially for transfer.

Personally, if I saw someone holding one of these I would have to move well away. Either, they hold extremely confidential information that could blow up the Earth, or the person holding the device is so paranoid at losing information they may lose it at any moment.

The range is available now Flash Survivor GT 8GB $129.99 and the Flash Survivor 4GB $59.99.
