Harman Kardon launch GPS, MP3 and video player

More than just GPS though

It seems everyone is keen to get a piece of the GPS action these days. Harman Kardon is the latest company to announced they are launching a device, however not content with just offering Satnav, the company's unit also sports an MP3 player and video viewer.

Called the Guide + Play the units offers 2D and 3D maps pre-installed on an internal 2GB Flash memory alongside traffic support via TMC.

The Harman Kardon Guide + Play will be available in the shops from May 2007 at a suggested retail price of £345

When it comes to the media elements of the player, users will be able to watch MPEG4 and WMV 9 movies on the units 4-inch LCD screen, while the player also supports MTP and Windows Media DRM 10 and offers a high-speed USB2 interface.
