Epson has launched two new desktops projectors that are designed for use in business or education environments.

The particular selling points for these two new products, the EMP-S5 and EMP-X5 (pictured), are great security features, affordable pricing and ease of use.

Both models offer password protection and security bars as well as low price points (£499 and £649 respectively) and, using the newly improved 4000-hour long-life E-TORL lamps, low running costs.

The EMP-X5 features 2200 ANSI lumens of brightness and a XGA resolution of 1024 x 768, while the EMP-S5 features 2000 ANSI lumens and a SVGA resolution of 800 x 600 pixels.

Quick Start enables a smooth, stress free and speedy set up in five seconds while the Instant Off does the same in reverse (sort of).

The screen will automatically square itself and correct any screen distortion while the Easy-Use remote control has three "zones", preparation, setting and presentation so even Mr Duddery-Phart from the history department should be able to cope.
