Maplin launches 7-inch in-car DVD player image

Maplin has launched an in-car DVD player with a motorised 7-inch TFT screen that retracts back into the dashboard when you're not using it.

Not a huge amount of info available but we can tell you that it also features an FM/AM radio, has connectivity for an MP3 player, is DVD/DVD-R/MP3/CD/CD-R/CD-RW compatible and comes complete with a remote control.

The product code is "A16GT" and a quick check on the site reveals the current selling price as £199.99.

  • nice, i bet it least have SD/MMC card slot and better have terrestrial analog TV, what ever. At some points, the flip up screen is pointless, as you can't enjoy it while trying to keep an eye on the road. Other functions are good, like musci playing, AM/FM.. BTW, car DVD players have two other types besite this in-car (in dash) DVDs, the sun visor DVDs, and Arm Rest DVDs, check http://www.sourcingmap.com/car-dvd-player-c-1115_1476.html

    but I think,the flip down (roof mount) car dvd player is not for car driver just headrest car dvd player.
