Metal Gear Solid 4 gets 360 confirmation

Good news for Xboxers everywhere

Despite being initially announced as a PlayStation 3 exclusive, Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots is now also going to be released on Xbox 360.

There are also unconfirmed rumours that there may be a Wii version, albeit a cut down one.

Some source claim that the 360 version will come with exclusive content that won’t be found on the PS3 edition.

A Konami spokesman said, "The game is set after the events of MGS2 and players will reprise the role of top secret agent Solid Snake with appearances by characters throughout the MGS series. With the addition of online capability, MGS4 is a leading product and will signal the dawn of a new gaming era for the MGS series".

thats a lie they barly managed to fit it on a 50gig blu-ray disk not to mention the 30gig HD disk it not going to the 360 expecialy not with extra content. face it the 360 version would be so toned down it would be laughable as if the xbox version always gets extra content this is just a fanboy who is trying to defend xbox.

It will come on 360 a 360 version would be they same it may or may not have to go on mulitiple disks but even if it did go on multiple disks it would not matter i have owned games with multiple disks before and it never took away from them. bottom line is konami are not likely to limit there sales by having it on one format.

they put MGS 2 on the X-Box, so why dont they put it on the 360. kojima said he may put it on there, but then he may not.

OMG MGS2 on xbox was a crappy early put out tooo f***ng early port of the game. It wasnt even supposed to come out b4 the ps2 version, let alone AT ALL!

anything is possible. MGS4 is a big game. If the game cannot fit on a Blu-ray disc then Konami has compression issues. No game as of now needs that much space. MGS4 is a short game with long cut scenes. It all comes down to compression. With the correct amount of Lossless compression the game will easily fit on 2 discs maybe (but doubtfully) three.
