New Pokémon Nintendo DS Bright Pikachu yellow if that’s your thing

Chasing its success as the leading handheld gaming unit Nintendo DS is to see another special edition - this time a bright yellow Pikachu Pokémon branded DS.

At the moment there are only plans to release the special edition in Japan, and even then it won’t be easy to get one as there’s a limited run on them, and for a limited time.

Fans wanting one will have to visit one of only five Pokémon centres between June 1 and July 1, and even then you’ll have to complete an application form in order to win the chance to buy one for 16,800 yen.

It’ll be interesting to see how many end up on eBay.
