With the UK release of the first-ever live-action Transformers film only weeks away on 27th July, Scalextric is launching a new Transformers Micro set.

The officially licensed Micro Scalextric set will let fans continue the epic battle of good versus evil, between the Autobots and the Decepticons.

Today’s children and 80’s kids alike can now create brand new battle scenes between the robots in disguise.

Whether their hero is Bumblebee (a Chevrolet Camaro) or his nemesis Barricade (a Ford Mustang police car), fans now have the chance to choose who will win the battle for Earth.

Both of the Micro Scalextric cars feature great detail as well as being the first Scalextric cars with the unique ability to change from vehicle to robot.

The cars battle against each other when converted into their robot character modes, trying to knock each other off the track with their extended arms - making for spectacular crashes.

Everything you need to recreate the famous fight scenes from the movie comes in the box which contains over five metres of track, two hand controllers, a power transformer, a highly decorated trackmat which depicts some stunning scenes from the movie and two models.

The set will be in shops from June priced at £40.
