Tokyoflash Equalizer BPM watch for dee-jays Be beat wise

13 June 2007 14:00 GMT / By Amy-Mae Elliott
Tokyoflash have released a watch with a special feature to appeal to budding DJs – it can measure BPMs (Beats Per Minute, idiot).
We think the theory goes that if you understand how many BPMs are in a rhythm then you can use that knowledge to mix tracks with similar BPMs, or do success "blends" between two songs. We think.
If you tap the watch's D button to the beat after a few moments, the watch automatically displays the BPMs on the LCD display.
Er, great. We guess. At least we know what to get Norman Cook for Christmas now, so that's a weight off.
