Xbox 2 launch date leaked

According to documents leaked from EA about its next version of Need for Speed, the Xbox2 will be launched in time for Christmas this year.

SPOnG, a gaming website was sent the document stating:

“Most Wanted will be available for Xbox 2, Xbox, PlayStation 2, GameCube, PC, PSP and “Game Boy Advance or Nintendo DS.”

Additionally according to the site, the document also states:

“…simultaneous ship, with the Xbox2 platform"

Many commentators believed that the console from Microsoft wouldn't launch until early 2006 in line with the PlayStation 3 also pencilled in for a launch date some time that year.
